Sealing rings, protective caps & protective plugs

Sealing rings are used to seal cylindrical threads (usually G-threads in pneumatics) on a flat sealing surface. Material and design significantly influence the function and price of the sealing ring. Plastic sealing rings made of hard PVC are used in many standard applications. For aggressive media, we recommend PTFE sealing rings, while for high pressures (e.g. in hydraulics) sealing rings made of copper, aluminum or special hydraulic sealing rings with NBR inserts are usually used. Tip: Captive sealing rings and sealing rings for hollow screw valves hold a screw connection with a banjo screw together even when dismantled and, when used correctly, can save a lot of time and effort.
