Taps & dies

Here you will find tools for cutting metric and inch threads (fine threads and standard threads). The taps and dies are available either as individual parts or as complete sets. Internal threads are cut by hand using a hand tap (DIN 352 / DIN 2181) with a tap wrench or tool holder, or alternatively using a machine tap (DIN 371 / DIN 376 / DIN 5156) also with a tap wrench/tool ​​holder by hand or by machine in the drill chuck. Machine taps are offered as through-hole taps (without spiraling) or blind hole taps (with spiraling). External threads are cut with dies in die holders (DIN 225). We recommend using a good cutting oil for good cutting results.
