Thread repair

We offer various options for repairing metric and imperial threads: If an external thread is torn or broken in an internal thread, it can often be removed from the internal thread using a screw extractor. If the thread is damaged (regardless of whether it is an internal or external thread), it can usually be repaired with a thread file. If the internal thread is completely destroyed, the last option is to use thread repair coils / thread inserts (Helicoil) according to DIN 8140. To do this, a larger thread is first cut into which a suitable coil is screwed in, which has the internal thread to be repaired on the inside.
