Solenoid valves (water valves) - 2/2-way & 3/2-way

When it comes to solenoid valves made of brass or stainless steel, we differentiate between servo-controlled, positively controlled and directly operated valves. Servo-controlled valves require a pressure difference (specified as the lower value of the operating pressure) between input and output in order to switch. A large number of cheap solenoid valves work according to this principle. With positively controlled valves, this pressure difference is not required because a more powerful solenoid coil supports the membrane during its movement (higher acquisition and operating costs). Directly controlled valves can also be operated without differential pressure, here the valve is only switched by the magnet, but this is only the case makes economic sense with small nominal diameters.
