Foot valves & suction strainers

Foot valves are used in suction lines. They are intended to prevent the contents of the line from running back against the suction direction after the pump is switched off and the line from being emptied. The foot valves consist of a check valve in combination with a suction basket, which is intended to prevent dirt from being sucked in. We supply foot valves with threaded connections made of brass, stainless steel and polypropylene. For the Storz connection, we supply a suction basket that can be equipped with an additional protective basket. Tip: By screwing in the individually available suction strainer, you can easily convert an existing check valve into a foot valve.
