Safety valves & pressure relief valves

Safety valves are used to protect a system from damage. They open almost suddenly when the response pressure is reached, thus preventing, for example, a compressed air tank from being overloaded. Most safety valves vent freely into the environment. If this is not desired (aggressive media, liquids), a corner safety valve must be selected. To protect a pump from overload, for example, we offer special pressure relief valves or overflow valves. These only open so far that the set pressure is not exceeded and, unlike safety valves, are designed for longer opening periods. We supply overflow and safety valves made of brass, nickel-plated brass or stainless steel.
