Glycerin pressure gauge (also for vacuum)

WIKA glycerin pressure gauges are ideal for use in systems in which operating pressures fluctuate greatly or even pulsate (e.g. in hydraulic systems or close behind pumps). The glycerin filling in the pressure gauge acts as a cushioning and thus increases the service life of the measuring mechanism. All glycerine pressure gauges have a tight plug on the top of the housing. This stopper is intended to prevent glycerin from escaping from the pressure gauge during transport. After installation, it must be opened so that the pressure gauge shows the correct pressures. E must be oriented upwards so that no glycerine escapes! Depending on the design, opening can be done by turning a lever, cutting open a rubber tip, piercing or removing a plug.
