Mud flaps & foot valves

The dirt traps are available in brass or stainless steel and are used to filter out coarse dirt from a media stream using a stainless steel sieve. The filter screens can be removed, cleaned and reused and are available in different filter sizes. Unfortunately, the filter dimensions are not standardized, so a replacement filter usually only fits a specific dirt trap. Please check the dimensions of the filter before ordering a replacement filter. The foot valves are used when liquids are to be sucked in. The filter prevents coarse dirt from penetrating and the check valve prevents the suction line from draining after the pump is switched off.
