Due to their design, the hoses listed here are suitable for suction applications (vacuum) and also for various levels of excess pressure. Many of the suction hoses have a spiral reinforcement, which gives the hose particular vacuum stability. The quality of the spiral and its integration into the hose material (material and wall thickness) are crucial for the properties of the hose. Hoses with an external spiral (spiral hoses), for example made of PVC or polyurethane, are particularly flexible. These spiral hoses should only be mounted with specially designed wire hose clamps, as "normal" hose clamps can cause damage. Attention: The spiral suction hoses shorten when suction is used.
