Sleeves, threaded sockets or bulkhead fittings are available in various materials such as brass, nickel-plated brass, stainless steel, galvanized steel or plastic. They are characterized by an internal thread on both sides and can be designed with both reducing and identical internal threads. The bulkhead screw connections also have an external thread and a lock nut, allowing media to be fed through a hole in a sheet metal or container. Bulkhead fittings are not only available with internal threads, but also as plug-in fittings, quick fittings, pipe fittings or couplings.
