Brass cutting ring fittings, ISO 8434-1 (4-18 mm)

Brass cutting ring fittings according to DIN EN ISO 8434-1 (formerly DIN 2353) are mostly used for use with copper pipes or polyamide pipes. They are not compatible with the compression fittings according to DIN EN 1254-2, but are compatible with the cutting ring fittings made of steel or stainless steel, also known as "Ermeto fittings". When assembling PA pipe or thin-walled copper pipe, a reinforcing sleeve must be used. For use with steel pipe or stainless steel pipe, we recommend using cutting ring fittings made of steel or stainless steel. The screw connections can be used for applications up to a maximum of 115 bar.
